In the beginning, most companies have to settle for a compromise between Brand Name and Domain Name.
I agree with the founder of Buffer:
Still, it can be quite frustrating down the line. The best Domain Names are already gone and the ones that remain just don’t feel quite right.
It’s no wonder that most serious businesses upgrade their Domain Name to reflect Company and Business growth. Even the founder of buffer, eventually paid big money to move the business from bufferapp.com to buffer.com. And so did many, many others.
